History Trip to St Mary’s Church HallOn Wednesday, 23rd June 2010, some Year 9 girls visited St Mary’s Church Hall in South Ruislip to interview people who grew up during the Second World War. Gifted and Talented in the SummerTara, aged 15, is one of only 100 pupils across the country to be selected on the prestigious Durham University’s Gifted and Talented programme this summer. Science Workshops 18th June 2010Years 7 and 9 both took part in Science Workshops on 18th June run by Mr Jeremy King, an engineer and parent of an old Heathfield girl. Year 6 Swimming TeamOn Saturday, 19 June, the Year 6 Swimming Team competed in the English Schools’ Swimming Association Championships in Sheffield. Year 7 Maths TrailOn Monday, 24th May 2010, 24 girls from Year 7 took part in a Maths Trail around the Eastcote shopping area. Grand RE QuizJust before the school broke up for the half-term holiday in May, the RE Department organised a lunch time quiz for Years 7-9.
